Monosof™ Monofilament Nylon Sutures (Medtronic)

Monosof™ monofilament nylon sutures are inert, non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures, which are available either dyed black, with Logwood extract, or undyed (clear). The advanced extrusion process of the nylon molecule gives the suture: uniform diameter, maximum flexibility of the strand, excellent security with snug and flattened knots, minimal memory, excellent and consistent knotting strength.

Monosof™ sutures are used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
