Electrosurgical electrodes (Medtronic)

Coated electrodes provide a wide range of benefits for surgeons, including improved surgical performance and easier cleaning compared to traditional stainless steel electrodes. There are several types of coated electrodes, each differing in their application during surgical procedures.

EDGE™ coated electrodes are manufactured using high-quality surgical steel and a durable proprietary elastomeric polymer coating.

EDGE™ electrodes deliver a more consistent surgical effect with lower power settings.

Ease of cleaning

Saves your time. Thanks to the proprietary Valleylab coating, there is no need to use a scraper. Simply wipe with a damp sponge and continue.

Strength and flexibility

Without compromising coating integrity. EDGE™ coated electrodes can be bent up to 45 degrees without cracking or peeling, which may occur with PTFE-coated electrodes.

Enhanced safety

NEW Safety Sleeve™ insulated electrodes. These electrodes provide an increased level of safety, especially during procedures where the tip of the handpiece may come into contact with unintended target tissue. There is no need to insulate these electrodes with rubber catheters or protective tip devices.

Style options

EDGE™ coated electrodes are available in a wide range of styles, including blades, needles, electrodes in three sizes, and insulated electrodes for enhanced safety when used in close proximity to non-target tissue.

EDGE™ coated electrodes are available with either rocker or push-button handpiece switches for greater convenience and cost efficiency.
