Smith & Nephew Renasys™ Touch system process:

A transparent insulating film is applied hermetically to the wound. The soft port is connected to the canister. The desired compression level is selected and the pump is activated. The doctor determines the level of compression depending on the characteristics of the patient's wound.

The essence of the Renasys Touch system is to gradually evacuate excess fluid, disinfect the wound and support its healing. Therefore, the dressings are replaced at certain intervals depending on the degree of filling. Based on the degree of wound healing, the level of compression can also be adjusted.
