The series is based on the Phonak Infinio Ultra platform, which provides automatic acoustic environment detection, fast sound processing, and stable Bluetooth connectivity.
The key innovation is a unique combination of two chips:
The ERA™ chip is responsible for fast device performance, Bluetooth® connectivity, hands-free calls, and audio streaming.
The DEEPSONIC™ AI chip is designed for speech processing in noisy environments. It works together with Spheric Speech Clarity 2.0 technology and helps separate speech from background noise coming from multiple directions. The presence of DEEPSONIC™ is the main difference between Sphere and standard Audéo Infinio models.

The Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio is a rechargeable model capable of operating for up to 56 hours on a single charge. Actual battery life depends on battery condition, degree of hearing loss, individual settings, sound environment, Bluetooth® usage, and enabled features.
Charging is done using the Phonak ChargerGo RIC Sphere Infinio, which includes a built-in battery for on-the-go charging.

Level 70 Advanced also includes Spheric Speech Clarity 2.0 and SpeechSensor, but uses Medium strength processing for Spheric Speech Clarity 2.0. This option is suitable for users who need improved speech understanding in noise but do not require the full premium Level 90 configuration.
