New conditions - new challenges

COR-Medical team has been implementing innovative medical technologies in Ukraine for about 15 years. We distribute throughout the country products that save, prolong and improve life. Full-scale military operations have become a serious challenge for Ukrainian medicine, as the number of people who need high-quality medical care has grown many times over. We have mobilized all our forces to continue supplying doctors with all necessary medical equipment and supplies to save lives.

In addition, the issue of providing first aid to military forces has become particularly urgent. In the conditions of mass mobilization, volunteers began to produce and complete tactical first-aid kits on their own. Unfortunately, they are not always of appropriate quality, but a properly equipped first aid kit increases the chance of preserving the health and life of a soldier in the event of injury. Therefore, the team of COR-Medical decided to use its knowledge, experience and capabilities to create a new innovative first-aid kit. After all, medical technology does not stand still and must be at the fingertips of our defenders.

How did we begin to create the innovative first aid kit?

Among our partners and social media audience are many professionals who save lives on the front lines. We asked them to share their experiences and make recommendations and suggestions on the type and composition of the first aid kit. More than 100 military and medical professionals got involved in the development. In particular, special attention was paid to the key features of the first aid kit that are critical: filling, functionality, design, etc.

After a detailed analysis, we began to develop our own first aid kit, taking into account all the wishes. Together with the technologists, we developed a unique bag for the new first aid kit. In it we have put the emphasis on convenience and reliability, in particular:

• Compact size (10*22*22).
• The first and only first-aid kit that has a sewn-in bandage splint (becomes accessible when fully opened).
• Made of sturdy waterproof material in protective color.
• Can be easily opened even with one hand (zipper with two sliders).
• Features an additional quick-access pocket for gloves.
• Inside the bag has elastic loops for securely attaching and locating medications and navigation to find everything you need in seconds.
• The wide full opening makes all the contents of the first aid kit easily accessible at once (important when providing first aid).
• It has two additional pouches (for quick access to the turnstile).
• Specially designed attachment system for the first aid kit (in particular, the pouch can be easily attached to any MOLLE-compatible tactical gear).
